easy homemade dog treats

1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 3/4 cups whole grain brown rice flour

Preheat oven to 350°F. Add the peanut butter and pumpkin to a food processor and mix together.
Add the flour a little at a time to the food processor until the dough no longer feels sticky.
Place some waxed/parchment paper down on the counter and put the dough on it. Add another layer of waxed/parchment paper to the top of the dough and roll it out to about 1/4" thickness.
Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes - we used a cute pumpkin shape.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and lay the cookies on top.
Bake for 8 - 10 minutes.
Let the cookies cool completely.

You can freeze the cookies for up to 3 months.
I would suggest freezing at lease part of the batch. This makes quite a number of cookies and they need to be eaten by your puppy within a couple of days. Store them in an airtight container.
